The International Independent Music Fair of Brasilia (Feira Internacional da Musica Independente de Brasilia - FMI) is the first music and business fair devoted to the independent recording industry in Brazil, and it seeks to help reorder and update the legal and commercial production processes related to the independent musical art form. FMI contains stands exhibition, showcase, conference and workshops.

The meeting of so many people with common interests naturally leads to a wide variety of exchanges among those involved. At the festival, musicians, technicians, business people, and specialists - from both public and private sectors - will be able to share and interact with each other.

In 2006 Guli-Bonu Producer Centre with Karen Gafurdjanov and his bands took part at the huge event. It was organized “Night of Uzbek Culture” where Karen presented his new album for all comers.
