Treasures of Uzbekistan

From April 12 to April 17, 2007 there was passed the second edition of the fair "Treasures of Uzbekistan. An applied art and Tourism". The exhibition was held in Paris (France). The organizers of the given exhibition became the "Sen Yolg'iz Emassan" Republican Social Children's fund, with the technical support of Guli-Bonu Producer Center.

Uzbekistan - has a huge and various cultural heritage, in particular unique, and highly developed art and crafts. The purpose of organizers of the given exhibition was all-round assistance of popularization to the knowledge of Uzbek craft and also the support of the presented masters. Works of the most talented handicraftsmen have been presented to the attention of visitors of the given exhibition, at the collections of whose it is possible to find subjects of decorative art from all regions of Uzbekistan. Art crafts of Uzbekistan were represented by the master of wood engraving, wood painting, leather painting, embroidering and ceramics. All exhibits are handicrafts, stood out for their uniqueness of forms, colors and special skill. Heart of the exposition this year was the paintings disposition of Uzbek well-known artist, Bobur Ismoilov. And "Sen Yolg'iz Emassan" Republican Social Children's fund had been exposed the best creative works executed by hands of orphan children in the section of "Children's creativity".

Also the atmosphere of orient market with its special sweets and antiquities, aromas and spices, gave the specially built Uzbek chaikhana. At the chaikhana all the visitors of the exhibition were invited to taste green tea, bakes and plov listening the melodious sounds of national Uzbek instruments.
