"Ari Roland" Jazz Band in Uzbekistan

The Ari Roland Quartet toured Uzbekistan from December 2 to December 7 and held classes for students during a week-long tour through Urgench, Bukhara, and Tashkent. The band then returned to Tashkent for the Dec. 6 concert at the Turkiston Hall and wrapped up their tour Dec. 7 at the Jazz Club of the Photography House in Tashkent.
All concerts were held with the full house.
On stage during a concert at the Turkiston Hall, American musicians even improvised two melodies together with the musicians of "Melody of Uzbekistan". And it must be noted that our traditional musicians made a good showing.
The tour of Uzbekistan was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent and organized with the technical support of Guli-Bonu producer Center.
