Makhfusa Salimova - Gold embroidery

Makhfusa Salimova is a hereditary embroiderer, a representative of the Third Dynasty of gold embroidery. She learned the craft from his father and mother, Nurmuhammad Sultanov also shared his experience with her.

Currently, Makhfusa - one of the most accomplished masters of Uzbekistan. She brings to this type of craft new techniques and teaching it to her students. Among her best works - gold-embroidered miniature sketches.

Inspired by the examples of medieval miniatures, works of famous Estern master Kamoliddin Behzad, Makhfusa suffered a miniature of golden embroiders to large size panels, thus creating original works of art. Based on the traditional styles of Bukhara golden embroiderers, she creates a large mural in the style of zarduzi-zaminduzi, zarduzi-gulduzi, zarduzi-bireshimduzi. Her works are characterized by high performance appliances, a thin seam, which makesit perfect.
